Fatty Bum Pants Revisited

So I used the same pattern, but sliced it in half lengthways and put the two pieces about 10cm apart on the fabric and pinned them on, then thought hmmm they probably need to be higher to get over his huge nappy. So I added about 5cm to the top of the pattern, and cut it out in one piece.
Then I got sewing and ta-da

As you can see, they fit my big nappied boy, with lots of room to move and grow....I decided that elastic round the legs wasn't going to work with his super long feet - too hard to get them through, so that went out with the old model.
